In Helsinki City we have this thing called the Mannerheim statue. But he’s so
lonely up there, the old guy Mannerheim. Let’s cheer him up with a modern time hero, a business Moses. Stephen Elop, riding on a My
Little Phone in forever changing colors.
By the way, Elop pole is a palindrome, and that leads us to another solution: a gigantic shame pole.
Let go of Guggenheim, we need something to connect us.

Not a steep flop
The Nokia years were not a steep flop for Stephen Elop. During this session he got away with a lot of chips on his bank account. No one rubbed his face or robbed his future. In the old days you could gain about 30 silver coins for these kind of transactions but Elop will secure his days with up to 30 millions euros for his alien show.
Or am I wrong? Was Nokia in a worse state than we ever thought. The rubber boots leaking and the tyres tired and flat. Is 30 000 000 € a cheap insurance or dowry for something completely downy.
And then a finish...

From Elop to Flop
As stated in Bill of Rights or gates open, part two, I am looking forward to reading moments with these coming best sellers: "From Watergate to Billgate" and "From Social Media to Socialized Media". Now I have a new one for my list books-to-read-before-I-die, that is of course "From Elop to Flop".
By the way, now we got this new expression e-loop, for economical movements in the digital business sphere.

Bill of Rights or gates open, part two
Yesterday we learned more about Microsoft, as Microsoft and NSA* had learned more about us for a period of time. I'm referring to The Guardian scoop, wich I commented - in Swedish - last night.
Well, now, it's quite easy to make fun using the first and last name of Microsoft founder and front man. A working class term for a police man back in London in the 1970s appears to have been Bill. For more suggestions you can have a quick glance here. It's interesting though, to shovel down to the roots. The word bill seems to descend from bulla, in latin, meaning document, seal (as in papal bull).
Any way, you are all familiar with the expression peeping tom. Then, in these days, we have this phenomenon called peeping bill, someone or something following us behind our (virtual) windows. **
But to my head line, Bill of Rights. As you can see, it's about "a number of personal freedoms", limiting "the government's power in judicial and other proceedings". From this day on, Bill of Rights got a new, shadowy meaning too.
So open your gates, someone or something will bill out here.
And by the way, look out for the new best sellers "From Watergate to Billgate" and "From Social Media to Socialized Media" .
*) NSA = No Secrets Allowed
**) 90% of you read this by using Windows as a looking glass (oh, we are all a big happy global family under the rule of open source)

Bill, did you leave your gates open...
...did you smash our windows...En viss följetång fortsätter, greppar friheten. The Guardian kastar i dag ljuskäglan på Microsoft - "Revealed: how Microsoft handed the NSA access to encrypted messages".
